Venice Community Housing Corporation develops lasting, neighborhood-based solutions for low-income families and individuals that help make our community stronger, safer and more inclusive for everyone. Our programs include:
Affordable Housing helping nearly 500 low-income families and individuals stay housed and build self-sufficient lives; for information on our current wait list please contact Candy Gonzalez at Candy@vchcorp.org
Crisis Housing for homeless women and their children, helping them transition into new homes and economic stability;
Resident Services, a range of family services on-site at our housing facilities, including Shelter Plus Care to help formerly homeless, disabled tenants stay housed and reach their full potential in life;
VCH Study Lounge, an academic focused after school program that focuses on providing academic assistance to students from ages 6-12 who reside in VCH buildings and in the surrounding community;
YouthBuild helps at-risk youth transition into successful adulthoods through an individualized high school education, supportive services, and job training that emphasizes construction and “green” industry skills.
