Part of Venice Community Housing’s mission is to provide valuable social services to low-income community members living in and around Venice. To accomplish this, the team offers local families – including those living in our affordable housing units – free academic-focused after school programs that give children and their parents the tools they need to succeed in school.

Venice Community Housing offers a variety of after school programs serving the children and youth living in our buildings and the surrounding neighborhoods. Our programs focus on providing year-round academic, recreational and civic development programs that empower children and youth and help them develop the skills they need to develop into successful adults. Chief among these programs is Study Lounge, which provides students with academic-focused after school activities.
