Infant Toddler Development Center

Venice Community Housing Corporation provides space free of charge for the St. Joseph Center's Infant and Toddler Development Center.

The Infant Toddler Development Center cares for very young children, ages 3 months to three years, while their parents pursue employment and educational opportunities.

The program is Venice’s first ever child care program that is free of charge for low-income families.

The benefits of high quality early childcare are well-known, with benefits accruing not only to the child but to the community at large. Children between the ages of zero and five years who receive high quality childcare are more likely to succeed in school and later contribute to society. They are also more likely to graduate high school, obtain well-paying jobs, and avoid government assistance programs.1
